A few moments ago I was asked about local forms of bus transport. In Mexico, for short routes, there are no regular bus lines. Instead, the so-called colectivos run. They drive irregularly, but they are a cheap and convenient method of transport. Did I write convenient? Excuse me. You can only talk about comfort if you catch a small truck with seats on the “back”.
Taxis run here much more often, taking as many passengers as can fit. The problem for a large tourist from Europe is that sometimes he does not fit in and has to drive with his head outside the car. Therefore, it is always a good idea to have a toothbrush and windshield washer fluid at hand.
Warning, the beginning of the film is loud, but I recommend turning off the mute!
