Wife, five children and a dog

The city is crowded and it seems that if there are any rules on the streets, no one has informed the drivers about it. For safety and convenience, the best way to explore the city is to hire a driver with your own vehicle for a day or two. Preferably one who has an idea of what is worth seeing. He can also tell a lot about life in the capital of India.

Ours is the quintessence of Indianness. He is ugly, has a lush mustache on his face and dyed red hair (so that the gray hair is not visible). He chews tobacco all the time. Considering how much of this stimulant he needs for the whole day, it seems that he carries it in the trunk.

Rajesh (because that’s his name) is very talkative. He talks a lot about life in India, shows interesting places. He copes perfectly with the chaos on the streets. It seems that he has eyes from all sides, or excellent intuition that allows him to predict which of the nearby drivers will try to kill us.

He is also very interested in life in Poland and us. “How long have you been married? Do you have children?” – she asks
“No, we don’t have children”
“Not one?” – he makes big, surprised eyes, “I have an A. The sixth is on the way and I will not stop there. Here, if I didn’t have children, I would be nobody. No one would respect me.”
This says everything about a country whose population is increasing by 13 million citizens every year. Despite the ubiquitous poverty.
