In the Pacific, there are no corals nearby, but there are a lot of interesting representatives of fauna. In addition to numerous octopuses, crawfish, turtles, you can see a herd of barracudas, tuna, sometimes a shark or manta ray, and quite a lot of moray eels.
When you swim underwater, you have to assume for your own safety that everything living here is going to kill you (and that’s not the only danger in the ocean). This does not only apply to sardines, although it is not known what damage could be caused by their entire herd. Maybe the more ambitious of them dream that they are like piranhas. They are definitely beautiful, as you can see in the video below.
And it turns out that even small fish, like small moray eels hiding in the rocks, can do a little harm. And so it happened. The little devil bit my finger. It didn’t even hurt, but there was a lot of blood. And you know what? Blood under water, at a depth of 30 meters, has the color of… No, no, not blue, but green. This is due to the fact that different colors of light reach different depths in the water. At the depth where I dived, only the green light reaches.
And you know what? I guess I’m inedible. My blood didn’t attract all the sharks in the area.
